Ballarat Pioneers
The Ballarat Pioneers Gridiron Club was first introduced in Victoria in 2010.
The club’s main role was to introduce a new team into country Victoria and to expand to the VIC League for the growth of the sport in Australia which is dominated by other codes.
The club is looking for new players with seniors training now for exhibition games which start in mid September.
Also officials, coaches or anyone who wants to help out are always required.

Hey Guys, Just wondering what the depth chart is looking like? I’m meant to be moving up to the rat pretty soon and if I’ve got the time I’m keen to play – I also might be able to rope in a few more mates, but some would be position specific, like a O or D linesman, maybe a DT or SS. I’ve had a bit of playing experience, not heaps though. I trained with the buccs for a little while and played a bit while I was over in the US. I’d hope you’ve got a decent QB already if you’re entering the season next year, so I’d probably be looking at a WR / CB role or backup QB if needed. Also, I noticed you gusy are looking at Blue and Yellow uniforms, Gridiron VIC just approved the Melbourne Royals who’d also be using those colours if you didn’t know already. Cheers guys, Rob.
G’day me and my brother are interested in playing. We have knowledge of the game. Iam 16 my brother is 17 we usally play football in the winter but we are looking for a change. We have filled out the registation forms and are just wondering where to hand them in
Hey guys to Rob, yeah we have a relativly healthy roster atm, but yeah definatley keen to keep adding to it.
For all info on how to start training jump onto the teams facebook page, just type in Ballarat Pioneers Gridiron club into facebook and you will get all information about training sessions.
To Sam yeah do the same jump onto the facebook page there will be trainings every week with the next being on the 24th of Oct.

I am interested in finding out about playing NFL. I have played both basketball and football for Victoria but it is time for a change. I also have a few mates that are also interested. Can you let me know how we go about joining the club?
