WADA Anti-Doping Code Prohibited List released

Please be advised that the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has released the World Anti-Doping Code 2011 Prohibited List, which will come into effect on 1 January 2011.

To give you a chance to familiarise yourself with the list, WADA has published it on their website http://www.wada-ama.org/en/World-Anti-Doping-Program/Sports-and-Anti-Do
ping-Organizations/International-Standards/Prohibited-List/
along with a summary of major modifications and details on the 2011 monitoring program.

ASADA encourages you to ensure that your state organisations, athletes, team managers, medical officials and other support persons are aware of the new list, and remind athletes it is their responsibility to check the status of any medication or substance prior to use.

Athletes can re-check the status of their medications at any time by referring to the Check Your Substances tool https://checksubstances.asada.gov.au/ on the ASADA website. The Check Your Substances tool https://checksubstances.asada.gov.au/ will be updated to reflect the 2011 changes on 23 December 2010.
