As June the 5th rapidly approaches and the excitement grows for the first ever 11 a side Women’s All Star Game in Australia, GV are pleased to announce the following coaches are on board to join the two Head Coaches already named.

We are also pleased to announce which teams each Coach will be part of on the night of the All Star Game.

Head Coach: Matthew Jenkins (Northern Lady Raiders)

Assistant Coaches: Anthony Caminiti (Western Foxes) & John Love (Berwick Miners Diamonds)

Head Coach:  Jamie Stafford (Berwick Miners Diamonds)

Assistant Coaches: Harry Jalland (Melbourne Uni Chargers) & Nathan Dipola (Northern Lady Raiders)

We hope to announce more team appointments in the coming weeks and to unveil the uniforms for each team shortly, but the above Logo’s give you a hint of what is to come.

After much deliberation, Gridiron Victoria are happy to announce the team names for the Women’s All Star Game.

In what will be a celebration of Women’s Football, two teams will take the field in a battle for glory (and bragging rights) on a cold Friday night in Melbourne.

Our 2nd Gridiron Victoria Women’s season gets underway in first weekend in October with the Women’s Vic Bowl II scheduled forSunday 7th December in Berwick.

Our inaugural season featured three teams and we expect to go bigger and better this season with at least two new clubs joining the fray!

Our women’s gridiron is full NCAA compliant uniform and equipment, 9 a side on full length field. There are teams in Footscray, Reservoir and Parkville, with teams expected in Berwick, Geelong and Ballarat!
