Men’s 2018 Season Recruiting Now

The Australian Gridiron Leauge is over for 2018 as is the Women’s, Colts and JV seasons. Gridiron Victoria now turns its attention towards the Men’s 2018 season.

American Football is the greatest sport on the planet, it is a sport for all people. It does not matter whether you are short or tall, skinny or large the great game of Gridiron has a position for you.

Gridiron is the most popular sport in the USA and the Superbowl had over 114 million views in the USA this season. The game of gridiron is growing in Australia with pathways to represent your state and even your country at the World Cup.

Gridiron Victoria has teams located all over the state, there will be one near you and all of them are looking for more players to join the club.

Victorian Women’s 2018 State Team Announced!

Gridiron Victoria will take part in the Women’s Australian Gridiron Leauge (WAGL) for the first time since the competition started in 2014.

The 2018 WAGL will be held in Perth in late May, Gridiron Victoria will be up against Gridiron NSW, Gridiron Queensland and the hosts Gridiron West.

The team will be lead by Head Coach Matthew Jenkins who is excited to announce the squad that will be headed to Perth.

Gridiron Victoria will take part in the Australian Gridiron League stating this Saturday with a home game against the SA Sharks in Footscray kicking off.

Gridiron Victoria names women’s state team head coach.

Congratulations to Matthew Jenkins, newly appointed Head Coach of the Victorian Eagles Women’s team to compete in the 2018 Women’s Australian Gridiron League tournament.

As Head Coach of the Northern Raiders Women’s team, Matthew was appointed as a coach on the Australian Outback team that competed in the IFAF Women’s World Cup in June 2017.

We wish Matthew and our new state team the very best as Victoria seeks to return to the top of Australian Gridiron.
